Former Scientist at ISRO
Sri. Harish Krishnamurthy, socially concerned activist, a technologist, an environmentalist, an educationist, a litterateur, a poet, and a social entrepreneur.
After his education in Electronics Engineering, Sri. Harish Krishnamurthy started his professional career in the prestigious Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) where he worked for about seventeen years making several important contributions to India's space programmes.
After years of illustrious contributions at ISRO as a scientist, Sri. Harish Krishnamurthy set out to establish Vagdevi Group of Educational Institutions, an array of quality educational institutions, as a way to make more fundamental and lasting contributions to society by imparting value-based education with special emphasis on Bharatiya Sanskriti.
He is also an avid reader and a first-class litterateur who pens articles and poems spanning the fields of education, environment, and spirituality. His book 'Chiguru', an anthology of poems, was released by Prof. K. S. Narayanacharya.
